I did not know until now that anyone parachuted in with dogs in Vietnam. My goodness what hazardous duty. Many vets keep those memories to themselves. He was a hero though. God bless your efforts.

Funny story about that, the first time they jumped they forgot or didnt know to put cotton in the dogs ears. The dog didn’t react well to the noise or change in pressure and when nuts. They though they were going to have to shoot the dog. He was trying to bite everyone. Eventually they figured it out, but there was a learning curve for both dog and man.
