I appreciate the input. There is no clear indication of Crohns in my case and I have my doubts. The most severe symptoms - blood in stool, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain - are missing for me so far. There is 'some' indication of inflammation but I am 80 years old. Repeated colonoscopies over the years have yielded little support for IBS or Crohns... still, I can't rule them out. All my imaging and 'scope' tests have indicated some inflammation, polyps (removed), small interior hemorrhoids - but no tumors or blockages, that sort of thing.
I will just be patient for now and not quick to jump to conclusions. I trust in all the testing and am fully cooperating. Meantime, I am trying a few (suggested) home remedies PLUS my Questran, for now. At least I have achieved overcoming weeks of watery stools - for now. It is a battle and conditions are changing constantly.
