Sounds like it could be oil build up. Sludge. I would get sunflower lecithin (emulsifier) and Vitamin B1(Thiamine /food for good bacteria)
Bile is an emulsifier.

I do have sunflower lecithin; I have slacked off since I broke my arm. I will get back to it. Vitamin B1 has been a regular for me.
