Have they ruled out any type of abdominal artery blockage?
It hasn't been mentioned specifically, but with all the imaging it would have shown up.
There seems to be an attitude here that I am just laying in bed moaning and doing nothing ... and that my GI Dr is struggling to understand his specialty. Many on this thread have made suggestions - kefir for example - and I have often followed their suggestions. My GI Dr has ordered dozens of tests, with a few notable results, like the chromogranin tests (repeated with a different testing protocol.)
Complying with the test disciplines is sometimes a challenge - like not quickly passing the capsule endoscopy, which could have confirmed or denied crohns and uncovered a tumor if present. As I said, I have to survive until better data is accumulated.
However, I do appreciate the concern and suggestions of my fellow FReepers. 😇
I have minimal blockages. My heart vessels have shown as clean as can be at my age... years of fish oil and niacin - IMO. I have diabetes - well controlled - but the possibility of neuropathies is a consideration.
