Why do so many FReepers not know about the Logan Act?
The Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, enacted January 30, 1799) is a United States federal law that criminalizes negotiation by unauthorized American citizens with foreign governments.
John F’n Kerry has most often been a violator of this statute while a private citizen, with of course no consequences to him.
So who by affiliation is trying to lead Trump down this treacherous path? That snake the Ukrainian himself?

I suspect many who wish to involve Trump do, in fact, know about the act and dream of ensnaring a not-yet-President-elect-Trump into a violation.

I think many Americans know about the Logan act, and believe Obama, Kerry, Clinton and others are all guilty of violating the Act.
I do believe the Deep State is still trying to grab Trump, or maybe set him up for some accusations they already cooked. Trump has already said he wouldn't consider meeting with Zelensky as it is up to the Biden administraiton to do that.

What is the "dispute" with Ukraine?
As far as I know, no one’s ever been charged with Logan Act. But I guarantee you they would do it to Trump.
