“fair” has become a synonym for “equal”, especially equal outcomes, what they call “equity”. It’s the old Marxism with some new wrapping paper.
A society that adopts and enforces that definition of fairness is doomed to fail.
The much better definition of “fair”, is that your rewards should be proportional to your honest contribution. That’s been the definition that made the US great.
Deciding what is Equitable has become falls to unelected and usually unaccountable judges.
The United States has to a large extent become ruled by judges.
Judges that are mostly free of term limits or forced retirement.
More and more we are ruled by petty princes in black robes.
We need an Article 5 convention to remedy these and other problems.
