Situation update of General Staff of UAF regarding russian invasion as of 6 p.m., November 15, 2023

Day 630 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.

During the day of November 15, there were 58x combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 4x missile and 29x air strikes, 46x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Moreover, the russian federation launched another attack on Ukraine with S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles against civilian infrastructure in the city of Selydove (Donetsk oblast) and the city of Zaporizhzhia. Unfortunately, russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Over 20x private residential buildings, 7x multi-story residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

The operational situation in east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

VOLYN and POLISSYNA AXIS: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

SIVERSHCHYNA and SLOBOZHANSHCHYNA AXIS: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. Around 30x settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Prohres, Baranivka, Turya, Stepok (Sumy oblast), Kozacha Lopan, Veterynarne, Starytsya, Budarky (Kharkiv oblast).

KUPYANSK AXIS: the enemy conducted assault operations in the vicinities of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast). The Ukrainian defenders repelled 7x attacks in the area. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10x settlements, including Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, Pishchane (Kharkiv oblast).

LYMAN AXIS: the adversary made failed assaults near Nadiya (Luhansk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the area of Serebryanske forestry (Luhansk oblast), and Spirne (Donetsk oblast). The occupiers fired artillery and mortars at around 15x settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Siversk, Verkhnokamyanske, Vesele, Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).

BAKHMUT AXIS: the invaders conducted assault operations with air support in the vicinities of Klishchiivka and Andriivka (Donetsk oblast). More than 20x settlements, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Pivdenne (Donetsk oblast) came under artillery and mortar fire.

AVDIIVKA AXIS: the enemy conducted failed assault operations east of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, and Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast), where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 17x attacks. The occupiers launched an air strike near Oleksandropil (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 15x settlements, including Berdychi, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Sjeverne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske (Donetsk oblast).

MARYINKA AXIS: the adversary made unsuccessful assaults with air support in the vicinities of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast), where Ukrainian defenders repelled 19x attacks. The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Maksymilyanivka, Maryinka, Pobjeda, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka (Donetsk oblast) were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

SHAKHTARSKE AXIS: the invaders conducted assault operations near Prechystivka and Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast), to no success. Also, the adversary launched an air strike near Vuhledar (Donetsk oblast). Around 10x settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.

ZAPORIZHZHIA AXIS: the invaders made unsuccessful assaults near Novodarivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast). More than 30x settlements, including Malynivka, Hulyaipole, Charivne, Stepove, Pavlivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.

KHERSON AXIS: The settlement of Lvove, Ivanivka, Sadove, Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Komyshany, Veletenske (Kherson oblast) and the city of Kherson, and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv oblast) suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation on Melitopol axis and offensive (assault) operations on Bakhmut axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy all along the front line.

During the day of November 15, Ukrainian Air Force launched 10x air strikes on concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, 3x strikes on air defense systems of the occupiers.

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 2x concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, 13x artillery systems, 1x air defense system, and 1x ammunition depot of the russian invaders.
