I don't care about the Eagles. Jest wanna see Fagan do them Steely Dan songs!
Just “spit-ballin”, here.....
But,
If I were to ever “imbibe”, this would have to be the accompanying background
You know I can’t decide. The tickets up front are 1900 but there are some seats at 200 or 244. I might go but I particularly wish my brother would go with me, he basically is the one who really got me into them. He and I listened to his albums all the time together but he does not want to go, hates the hassle that is concerts these days. I don’t blame him, my husband and I are even willing to pay for his ticket to get him to go but he’s adamant he does not want to. My husband says he’ll go but it won’t be the same without my brother, who’s name happens to be Dan. I haven’t bought tickets yet hoping he’ll change his mind but they won’t last forever and I have to decide soon, very soon.
I hadn’t been to a concert for years, until I saw Steve Hackett a few weeks ago.
Saw SD back in the 90s, but concert ticket prices are so ridiculous. Plus the concerts are generally on YT so you can enjoy them.
The prices are outrageous. I saw all the great rock n roll bands for 8 dollars, except the only one I wanted to see, The Beatles.
So I paid 450 a ticket to see Paul McCartney a few years ago now. I have to say this, his was the best concert I have ever been to. I know that sounds like it really wasn’t, but it really was, at least for me. He played some Beatle songs, Sgt Peppers and more, brought his actual guitar from Sgt Peppers told stories did mention ‘his pals’ and did songs for them, John and George. It was honestly fabulous.
Oh, and though I was midway up I swear he looked at me and I gave him the peace sign and he did look harder at me, no kidding. Of course all this could be just in my mind... ;)
Yeah, Macca’s voice is gone, but so what? You probably can’t even hear him because everybody is singing along.
OMG! You kept the ticket stub!
YES!
$9.50!
LOL, I wish, just did a Google Image search.
His voice was perfect.
There was a couple in the audience he invited up on stage. They were holding a poster.
The poster said they were getting married and would he married them. He asked the girl what makes you think I can marry anyone? She told him she saw on he was an ordained minister or something on the internet.
Paul turned to the audience and said, ‘You saw it on the internet’. It was hilarious.
The girl kept hugging Paul even though her bf was standing there on stage with her and Paul said, ‘You’re marrying HIM, aren’t you?’
He then said he would marry them but they might consider redoing it again with someone who is official.
Then he actually performed a wedding ceremony. It was really cute and so fun.
Great concert.
Oh! 😆

I meant dildo. Sorry for the mistake.
No, my post #19 was wrong, and you are correct. It was a dildo.
