Oh it was:
South American peasant with brand new luggage smells of glue.
Guess why, excuse was they unknowingly bought it full of
cocaine at flea market.
When mules swallow condoms full of drugs it’s not just a few,it’s sometimes like 30 or 40.
Some stores in Brooklyn were part of an economic zone. Government insured them from theft up to 10,000. You would not believe the amount of shoe stores and electronic stores were robbed of 9,900. dollars worth of goods.
Sigh. I can see those things you mentioned.
I have some sympathy for Police, because they see, straight up and in the face, the seamy underbelly of human dishonesty and corruption all the time. No wonder they have stress, suicides, etc. We can look away from it, but they cannot.
Corruption is in human nature. We need to be ever wary of it, expect it, and plan for it as the Founders of this nation did.
I try to do the best I can, but I found myself thinking of doing something dishonest some time back. I was only saved from doing it because I couldn’t accomplish it. When I thought about it after the fact, I could only shake my head. What if I had succeeded?
At a fundamental level, I’m no better than those store owners in Brooklyn who filed for $9,900 dollars of stolen goods.
I am trying to find my way to God, and it seems to me that there is something in this observation that is relevant.
