Something like 65% of girls thinking that they are boys have underlying mental health issues. On the spectrum for autism, anxiety, OCD, etc, They are led to believe that their difficulties and invasive thoughts are because they are really the opposite sex. The internet is the starting point with stupid questionnaires (”When you get your period does it make you feel uncomfortable?”). The psychologists and therapists only make it worse by giving their stamp of approval. And finally, the money-loving evil doctors that will proscribe pills and do surgeries with little to no diagnosis on their part. “Hello, pleased to meet you. You say you really are a boy? It sounds like you've thought about this a lot. I'll prescribe you the pills and you can pick them up tomorrow.”
It is just like any other cult - promising to solve their problems, make them different than the others and special, and provide them with a group where they belong.
A few of those types of doctors that you mention who do this to minor children, need to be given a profound life altering possibly disabling attitude check. That doesn’t sound too violent does it? I’m afraid that until a few (and it would only take a few) parents of these kinds of kids (I hate to say it) take justice into their own hands, this kind of stuff will become even more commonplace.
