You are not a parent, are you?
I am, and also a Grand-parent. I've seen them all play with each others' gender toys. There is not a one of them that asked, "Dad, am I really a girl because I like to play with Barbie's car and run it around her dollhouse? I'd say no, you're just having fun. Next thing, my Son would be in his Army tent in the backyard having a shootout with his buddies and getting into the occasional fist fight in school!
Here's a personal experience. When around 5 to 7, I had a stuffed dog I took to bed every night. The next day, I might get into a fight in school. Also, I have some natural ability for color matching/contrast and furniture design/arrangement. The Wife and I discovered that when we were renovating our kitchen/family room some years back. Funny how she got all the kudos from family and friends, until she told them it was all my design.
Bottom line: I love, respect, adore, treat girls/women with respect as they deserve since I first discovered them at 7 or whenever. Why? Because other than the skanks of today, I believe women to be the better sex of our species. Their characteristics of nurturance, sensitivity, sweetness, supportiveness, loyalty, gentleness, warmth, cooperativeness, empathy, affection, tenderness, I so admire.
Traits traditionally viewed as masculine in Western society include strength, courage, independence, leadership, and assertiveness. Unfortunately, boys/men can't always control the above traits. Luckily, they have the same traits as women stipulated above, but to lessor degree. In what I call normal people it tends to work in most cases.
I have never wondered if I'm gay even with my little stuffed dog. The visuals I see all the time in media repulses me because Women are just delicious in so many ways. God did me the best favor by inventing Women. The smell of a woman's hair, her soft hand caress on my face, her smile when I make a stupid joke. Thank you, and thank you for dogs, also. You did good, Sir. Amongst the horror of every day human idiocy, I have those 2 loving entities to keep my sanity.
