Dawn blue has been what I have used for decades.
When I wash produce however I use a combination of white vinegar and just a touch of dawn and wash my fruit off in that.
Also the outside of melons and squash or anything should be washed. the migrant worker pickers and the germs on the surface go together
I just got a big big container of the concentrated dawn from Amazon it was like $22.50 for 90 oz and it’s a big container will last a long time and yes cotton I have a little dispenser that I use and I dilute it
Well now I fell downright silly that I never thought of just diluting the dawn. I keep some on hand for greasy messes, but it’s under the sink and I forget. After I wash something three times with the cheap stuff. Then I remember!
