That is beautiful, Ms.B. So funny....just this afternoon, Natalie and I were having a cup of tea and talking about how everything is so ugly now lol.
We were looking at pics of the European churches, with their stunning paintings and windows and carvings....and comparing them to what they call churches today. I don’t know about America, but most churches up here are so sterile, so bland, nothing at all that points to the creative powers that God has bestowed on man.
I find the beautiful statues and paintings breathtaking, and they make me think of what a Creator we have, and how He deserves His meeting places to reflect His splendor. Then we talked about music, as we listened to some beautiful concerts. Our buildings don’t reflect any beauty - they’re cold, industrial looking, something downright ugly.
That club building is beautiful. Inside and outside. What a fireplace!
The stained glass windows illustrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each pane is a sermon.
Glad you enjoyed the pictures!
I’m sending you a link about Saint Petr and Pauls Basilica
https://princeofpeace.me/history-of-the-basilica-of-saints-peter-and-paul
it was called “The nickle and dime Cathedral” at one time
because of how poor the the French Canadian immigrants were
at that time.
Here’s another link:

It is magnificent!
Hope you take a peek!
