The Capitol Police were probably screened long ago to eliminate anyone not down with the leftist agenda.
As the democrats are currently doing with the US Military, the FBI and probably every other federal bureaucracy.
We have all learned by now that Washington republicans and democrats function under two sets of rules.
For the most part Republicans follow the written laws and rules.
Democrats place the interests of the democrat party first, before honesty, honor, fidelity or patriotism.
They ignore anything that does not protect and advance the democrat party agenda.
We aren't naive. We know that not all Washington republicans are honest and honorable.
But it's a certainty that all Washington democrats are dishonest and dishonorable.
Because any who don't line up with the party agenda get strong armed until they do.
Or they are run out of town by the democrats in power.
Getting republicans to vote on a bill is like herding cats.
But democrats line up and vote en bloc every time like trained rats waiting for their bite of government cheese.
What a perfect description of the dem lack of honor and integrity.
Of course the Capitol police would be hand-picked Pelosi surrogates. I certainly didn’t think that one through. They may even be Antifa alumni.
As criminal and crooked as they all seem to be, I guess I’m just surprised that more of them don’t seem to get a bout of conscience. Then again, they know what would happen to them if they did.
