With all the sickness and death touching our hearts especially now with our family and friends in need, they need our lights. We all have them to share. I certainly need to be reminded myself Pax. Thanks all for what you have shared with me. I really appreciate everything. Hugs.

We all need each other.

You know, I was just thinking that God could have made us so that we don’t need each other.

He could have created billions of self-sufficient humans, but He didn’t.

He chose to create us as social beings and He almost always chooses to work through us, not miraculously outside us.

I’m reminded of this prayer which is attributed to St. Theresa of Avila.:

Christ has no body but yours, no hands, no feet on earth but yours.
Yours are the eyes with which he looks compassionately on this world.
Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good.
Yours are the hands, with which he blesses all the world.
Yours are the hands.
Yours are the feet.
Yours are the eyes.
You are his body.
Christ has no body now but yours, no hands, no feet on earth but yours.
Yours are the eyes with which he looks compassionately on this world.
