It’s a little tough to watch because the poor thing is so frightened and trying so hard to get away. Happy ending, though, and the deer runs away fine! Good thing, too, as the guys could have gotten seriously injured.

the first litter? I sent all the people I knew that had the first set of babies a happy birthday on April 1st. I got pictures back of the babies with their birthday presents! They have really good homes:-) I haven’t heard anything since. There’s only one kitten that I didn’t know where he ended up, maverick. I pray he is happy.

I’ll find out tomorrow. I’m going to bring Mama and Angus back in. Angus was the kitten that was worse off. He still has spots on his face, which I think is ringworm. But he gained 7 oz this week so he’s eating good!
I think Mom is doing well from the coccidia because of the how do I put it,... normal litter box. She might still have mastitis but she seems like she is feeling better. She’s purring and rubbing against me at the moment. They all like it when I take the tablet into their rooms, they know I’m staying awhile.
Kittens.... not so good with the litter box. And everybody only gained about an ounce last week, except for angus. He was just catching up because he didn’t gain anything the previous week. Apparently with these two highly infectious diseases kittens reinfect each other a lot.
If the kittens can’t get spayed and neutered Thanksgiving me, it’ll have to wait till january. It’s a long wait to get an appointment at the low-cost clinic. I’m hoping mama can at least go, otherwise she’s likely to get in heat again. Unless maybe they don’t do that in the winter, that’s what I was hoping but a friend today told me they go into heat all the time around here.

The influence of the Intelligence Branch now reaches into our lives, our personal lives.
In the decades before 9/11/01 the intelligence apparatus intersected with government, influenced government, and undoubtedly controlled many institutions with it. The legislative oversight function was weak and growing weaker, but it still existed and could have been used to keep the IC in check. However, after the events of 9/11/01, the short-sighted legislative reactions opened the door to allow the surveillance state to weaponize against domestic enemies.
After the Patriot Act was triggered, not coincidentally only six weeks after 9/11, a slow and dangerous fuse was lit that ends with the intelligence apparatus being granted a massive amount of power. Simultaneously the mission of the intelligence community now encompassed monitoring domestic threats as defined by the people who operate the surveillance system.
The problem with assembled power is always what happens when a Machiavellian network takes control over that power and begins the process to weaponize the tools for their own malicious benefit. That is exactly what the network of President Barack Obama did.
The Obama network took pre-assembled intelligence weapons (we should never have allowed to be created) and turned those weapons into political tools for his radical and fundamental change. The target was the essential fabric of our nation.
Ultimately, this corrupt political process gave power to create the Fourth Branch of Government, the Intelligence Branch. From that perspective the fundamental change was successful.
This is the scale of corrupt political compromise on both sides of the DC dynamic that we are up against. Preserving this system is also what removing Donald Trump is all about…. The targeting of President Trump in order to preserve the system, the system that was weaponized during the Obama administration, is what the actions of the DOJ and FBI are all about.
What would powerful people in DC do to stop the American people from finding this out?
…. Including an FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.

But from the beginning, politicians have tried to stretch the meaning of ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ to apply to political disagreements, and that is antithetical to the fundamental architecture of the Constitution.”
In conclusion, he referenced former President Donald Trump, saying, “The House made a mockery of impeachment twice during the last session of Congress. We must not allow the left to become our teachers. If these clear constitutional principles are not restored, now, that power will be just one election from being turned against the constitutionalists on the Supreme Court, or upon any future Republican administration.”
He IS CORRECT.
Mark Levin gave a real good lesson not to long ago explaining what the founding fathers meant by high crimes and misdemeanors when they wrote the constitution. It DOESN’T mean what people think or try to make it mean today.
