Veterans Day SLIDE:

This morning I had a rather emotional experience. A lady knocked on the door of the house we are tending and presented me with this "Quilt of Valor". I had never heard of such a thing. It was a complete surprise and brought me to tears. My Army service ended in 1980. It has been 55 years since I came home from Vietnam. Yet every time I look at it I have been choking back sobs all day.
