I’m trying hard to grow my own tobacco, but I don’t think it likes the salt air. We sand gardeners have one more major variable to contend with - salt.
I have grown lots of tobacco. Easy in virginia I guess. Planning a small plot, for here. I can’t grow no bannanas.
Tobacco is notoriously hard on soil nutrient/mineral profile. You have any Kudzu in the area? Grind/cut a bunch of that up and add it to your compost…
