I must wonder. What’s in it for her by making this statement? Is she trying to position herself for grabbing the 2024 Democrat nomination if Biden bows out?

I’m surprised at how lazy even conservative media has been. The deadline to enter the New Hampshire primary was Friday, and the filing windows will close in the other states in the coming weeks. Sure they could get corrupt judges to reopen ala Toricelli, but in 10 or 20 states? That would be pretty
Messy. Nope, I think it’s pretty clear that Kamala is the party honchos’ decided upon back up. Once the nominee is elected, the party can switch out if he dies or disabled, see Eagleton in 1972. Would they really diss the allegedly black woman and replace shoe with someone else? I don’t think so.

Just as well, I feared Big Mike getting into the race. I think we can beat Harris like a drum

True. But as I see it, the 2024 Democrat primaries mean nothing. Biden is going to rack up the delegates. No one else will be even close.

But that doesn’t mean he will get the nomination. My guess is that either late in the primary season - or at the convention - Biden will step aside for “health reasons”. Then his delegates become free agents, and it’s anybody’s guess who will get the nomination. And you can be sure Hillary is thinking about that.

If I had to bet today, I’d bet that Michelle will be on the ticket. Sure, she’s lazy. “But only you can beat that evil Trump, Mrs. Obama. The party needs you!”
