In the 1930’s that was sound advice for anyone.
As to Facebook I quit because I tired of the censorious fact checking, the arbitrary post removals, the shadow banning of people I followed and etc.
Not to mention most of what people post about themselves on Facebook is narcissistic, vapid, shallow, trite, and inane. I just don’t care to participate.
Fine for you but that is not fine for me and I’m not insulting my friends and family like you have just done. Does that not occur to you what you are saying about people that you could only have seen their posts because you friended them? To me, that says more about you than them.
