There’s a WWII C47 still taking people up for rides out of Republic Airport in Farmingdale LI. My wife freaked at my idea of taking Junior up in an “antique”. I mean really freaked. About 350.00 a pop.

There’s a WWII C47 still taking people up for rides out of Republic Airport in Farmingdale LI. I mentioned The Lyon Air Museum in Santa Ana, CA in a previous post. They also have a couple of C47's there too. If anyone is in that area (at the John Wayne airport) it is definitely worth the trip. It's on the other side of the runway(s) from the main terminal.
