PING
In before exDemMom comes along with her poo-poo comments.
Glad to know (hope?) that infectious disease experts like eDM are big enough to admit they are wrong sometimes.
“Follow the science” is glad to be alive.
Here is another article about Mark Skidmore’s paper
Just so you have both sides of the story.
And even that number is only a fraction of te people who died as a result of the vaxx. I know 2 woman neither with cardiovascular issues who both died 6 months after being vaxxed of pulmonary embolisms. Neither of which were ever reported to VAERS or counted as a vaxx fatality. Way too many of these anecdotal stories for it to be a fluke.
“But there was a problem. Skidmore based his estimate of vaccine-related deaths on the opinions of people who had no way of knowing that the illness or death their acquaintances suffered after vaccination had anything to do with the shot. “
Skidmore never claimed that he identified the cause/effect of shot and death. He documented inexplicable levels of death and said it should be investigated. The paper was pulled and they tried for months to debunk it, and finally released it because what he said and what he showed were accurate. Said another way, Skidmore was saying, “Where there’s smoke, we should look for fire” and the paper’s critics yelled “FALSE! YOU NEVER PROVED THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE!”
His study does not say 250,000 people died as a result of the COVID vaccine.
His study says 250,000 people died for no clear reason and it very well could have been the vaccine and needs to be studied.
It’s “smoke” that needs to be checked out, not “fire”.
Yes!
Why anti-vaxxers are pretending a flawed study on vacccine deaths has been vindicated
MICHAEL HILTZIK, business columnist for the LA Times, basically repurposed David Gorski’s new hit piece. It’s the same old arguments as they used before that the survey didn’t verify the deaths were caused by the vaccine. That’s right. The survey didn’t do that and never claimed to have done that.
What the survey did is say, “Whoa! We could have a MAJOR problem here; how do you explain all the carnage?”
Any objective scientist looking at that data would have to agree: this is smoke. Mark pointed out it was smoke.
Hiltzik should be writing about how nobody seems to want to investigate this signal.
That is a straw man.
He didn’t attempt to prove COD. He showed a serious, and deeply curious, anomaly exists.
” He documented inexplicable levels of death and said it should be investigated.”
No he didn’t
He extrapolated from the number of respondents who said they knew someone who had died from the vaccine to conclude that the number of U.S. vaccine-related deaths “may be as high as 278,000.”
“He showed a serious, and deeply curious, anomaly exists.”
And what was that anomaly?
Yes. I was careless about ‘documented’ because I’d just been reading other info documenting inexplicable levels of deaths. But in this article, he extrapolated from observations, which just happen to be similar to others’ estimates.
Two deaths in two days. Both vaccinated and boosted and very sad to hear this news-—
#1-—My 71 year old brother in law died last night. Went from nothing 2 months ago, to cancer a month ago. Doctors were preparing to start treatment and then stated “he only has a week to live” We heard the term “turbo cancer” thrown around. Funeral Thursday
#2— My boss’ 42 year son in law died suddenly last night as well. Heart attack-—was a runner, completely healthy. Very sad as well. Funeral most likely Thursday.
I wish this weren’t true but I believe this is the cause of endless vaccines and good, innocent people are dying and families being devastated.
I seriously don’t know what to believe about the “jab” anymore. Just know a few friends got sicker from the “jab” than I did from Covid, but that’s anecdotal. They were mildly sick for a few days. Also I would not have even known I had Covid except I tested positive. Was not as harsh as my hay fever aka allergies.
All my close family have taken the “jab” with no ill side effects and no instances of Covid (although two did test positive at one point, both were asymptomatic).
Glad I don’t have to bother worrying: I cannot take the “jab” (or any other vaccine) for different reasons. Been that way for over 20 years. Have my doctor’s letter to prove it. (Has to do with a quirk of my overactive immune system.)
No doubt, the Branch Covidians will be upset (and spreading their agitprop to attempt to counter).
Don’t forget fart_dr and red-dot narcissist.
Correct. It’s shame the paper can’t be described honestly and accurately even on FR.
