‘McArthur Park‘ ya. Awful
Ya. Not bad when the songwriter does it

Billy Squire - The Stroke
I think you’re right. Almost as bad as the other. Both are horrible.
Pretty much anything Paul Simon did after Simon and Garfunkel broke up.
The instrumental middle I thought was great. The Wrecking Crew's finest moment.

You will if click on this. Very well played by the Foo Fighters, live:

WORST song ever....
Paradise by the Dashboard Light, *urp*gag*barf*
If you do like the studio and how Duane plays on it, then you’re missing it not listening to the live version
Dickey Betts wrote it btw
What was the one gay video Billy Squier did that basically ruined his career?
Songs that don’t belong on their list:
1. Genesis, Illegal Alien. Ain’t great, but ain’t the worst. They just don’t like it due to “woke” sensibilities. Phil Collins is meh. But Genesis doesn’t deserve this song on a “worst of” list.
2. Def Leppard, Don’t Shoot Shotgun. Why? I’d still play that one loudly.
3. Bon Jovi, Love is a Social Disease. Whatever. Not every song on an album is great, but that one fit into and flowed just fine on Slippery When Wet. Nowhere near “worst ever”. Please.
4. Led Zeppelin, Boogie With Stu. No Zeppelin, ever, should appear on a “worst songs list”. Not anywhere.
5. Pink Floyd, Alan’s Psychedelic Breakfast. Perhaps no song captures an age and a generation like this one. It’s social commentary, sharp wit, and hard-driving lyrics showcase what a song CAN be and who Pink Floyd would later become. Many define it, and the impact it had on their lives differently. To some, it’s a protest song, to others, it’s a longing for another time and another place. Still to others, it’s Rice Krispies. But nobody can deny the inspiration this song provided to artists and fans of all genres then, now, and in the future.
I don’t think I’ve ever listened to the pre- Perry stuff. It made me never want to hear anything by them.
I’ve seen that.
Actually Rick’s a pretty cool guy.
“In Memory of Elizabeth Reed”

The live version of this is the best song ever recorded in the history of music.
Well, I don’t need any more caffeine for the day. I’m awake now.
As a Genesis fan, the one song I would put on the list is "Whodunnit?" Totally ruined the Abacab album, which is otherwise good.
jerimiah was a bullfrog....
Nope. I can’t think of any Stones song either.

Shattered? For me, anyway.

Ok well now we’re talking. I posted the link a few posts back
They would make my list. To me, The Who are massively overrated.
I like “Pinball Wizard”, “See Me, Feel Me”and “Behind Blue Eyes”, but that’s about it. “Baba O’Reilly”is one of the most boring songs ever recorded.
Flame away:)
