Minneapolis’s prosecutors always knew George Floyd died of natural causes

A former Hennepin County, Minnesota, prosecutor is suing her employer, alleging that she was a victim of sex discrimination and retaliation. That’s par for the course. Hennepin County is entirely Democrat, and Democrats don’t always feel obligated to follow their loudly stated rules. The reason Amy Sweasy’s lawsuit matters to us is because George Floyd died in Hennepin County…and depositions in Sweasy’s case make it very clear that the prosecutors always knew that Derek Chauvin and the other three police did not kill George Floyd:

During her deposition, Sweasy also discussed a revealing conversation she said she had the day after Floyd’s death when she asked Hennepin County Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker about the autopsy.

“I called Dr. Baker early that morning to tell him about the case and to ask him if he would perform the autopsy on Mr. Floyd,” she explained.

“He called me later in the day on that Tuesday and he told me that there were no medical findings that showed any injury to the vital structures of Mr. Floyd’s neck. There were no medical indications of asphyxia or strangulation,” Sweasy said, according to the transcript.

“He said to me, ‘Amy, what happens when the actual evidence doesn’t match up with the public narrative that everyone’s already decided on?’ And then he said, ‘This is the kind of case that ends careers.’”

Of course, American Thinker readers have long known the truth about George Floyd’s death. Practically from the beginning, John Dale Dunn, M.D. wrote here that (a) none of the coroner’s information showed death from asphyxia or any other type of strangulation injury and (b) that what killed Floyd was his heart: He had severe heart disease. The disease, combined with stress, killed him. And the Hennepin County prosecutors knew this all along.

Floyd was over drugged and was wild at the confrontation. The cops had their hands full trying to control him.

“Minneapolis’s prosecutors always knew George Floyd died of natural causes”

EVERYONE DID (except my wife).

Natural causes:
“Usually, dying from natural causes is interpreted as “nothing acute happened,” Dr. Reuss explained. And by acute, Dr. Reuss means that nothing sudden or severe happened.”

“Lewis Nelson, MD, chair of emergency medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, told Health. “It basically means that the death was not due to a ‘non-natural’ event, such as suicide or homicide,” Dr. Nelson said.”

” Erin McNeely, MD, ... “’Natural causes’ is a really wide, wide term that can be anything that wasn’t an accident or affected by a force,” “

There’s only 2 things in America that matters - citizens, non-citizens.

There’s only 2 things in LIFe that matter - HIS (God’s), or not His.

I have never cared what paint job a person has - because that’s literally all it is, a paint job. A black F150/Chevy or Ram 1500 is the same behind the paint as a white F150/Chevy or Ram 1500. It is the LEAST IMPORTANT part of the vehicle. It is also the least important part of a HUMAN.

And solely because of racial politics, the lives of Chauvin and others have been ruined.

To tell you the truth I am surprise that Earth Day isn’t a paid day off where I work. It’s pretty liberal place. I would love to leave, but I’ve spent too much time there.

National Clown Week will do for August. It’s perfect!!!

Seems like grounds for an Appeal. The Brady Rule, where prosecution must provide exculpatory evidence, has been clearly violated. How about starting a Fund for the appeal?

He swallowed 11mg of fentanyl where 3mg is fatal.
He tried to hide the drugs he was selling. He did not care if they died. He once pointed a gun at the stomach of a pregnant woman he and others when they invaded her home in Texas.

But is this going to get Derek out of prison? The leftist hue and cry against such a thing would dwarf the demonstrations for Hamas and make it impossible for the leftist establishment in MN to even countenance actual justice.

Derek Chauvin needs to be released and the prosecutor throw in prison for three times the sentence Chauvin got.

I agree. Our court system is very sh*tty. It needs overhaul badly.
