Ok I speak from experience.
My hearing aids are Bluetooth and the range drops out about 10-15 feet away; if the cellphone rings and out of range, I can’t hear the chime.
And if I don’t have Bluetooth enabled,I can’t hear anything from the cellphone speaker.
