All we keep hearing is how visual men are and how important it is for them, and they you all wonder why women think that's all that counts for you (pl)

Everybody has to find their partner attractive. So that's necessary but not sufficient unless the guy is really shallow and foolish. You have to live with that person and they will be your partner after all. You'd better have compatible values and be able to get along well.

Case in point is the *guilty/not guilty* verdicts lobbed about on FR whenever a woman is accused of a crime. It's all based on looks. Character has nothing to do with it, nor does the rightness or wrongness of the actions.

Its an obvious joke. Lighten up.

If men want women to know they value more about them than looks, then men need to act like looks are not all they value in women.

The vast majority do. This would be like accusing women of only caring about a man's height and the thickness of his wallet. Obviously most women care about that. That's fine. I understand the biological/evolutionary reasons behind it so I don't negatively judge women for it - but by the same token if that's ALL she values, that's obviously very shallow and foolish on her part and not likely to lead to a good outcome.

It’s not very funny when they are doing it on a thread where some female teacher has taken sexual advantage of a teenage boy. And holding the another reason to homeschool list, it happens virtually all the time. I see it constantly.
