That description fits some though obviously not most.
I think 3rd wave feminism really gave women a very skewed perspective which has caused a lot of problems. Women rate 80% of men “below average”....ie they’re not interested. This means most women are only interested in a small percentage of men. This enables these men to be players and a lot of them take full advantage of that. They can’t marry all these women so the majority will get played and dumped.
If women aren’t themselves in the top 10-20% and can’t get one of these guys, and if they don’t figure this out when they still have at least some of their youth to offer, their chances of ever finding a good man, getting married and having a family fall off a cliff. Most guys in their 30s - especially if they’ve got their heads on straight and have built a solid career - aren’t looking for women in their 30s who the guys know don’t really want to be with them particularly - they’re just desperate to be with somebody before their chance of ever having a family is gone forever.
Things were a lot better up til the 70s when couples got married earlier and they each had a much more realistic view of themselves and the kind of partner they could get. Not only men but women too reported being much happier then than they do now.
