Agreed and that debt is not worth it. The woman has no intrisic value that would justify taking over that debt let alone living with a person who goes into such debt in the first place. I once went on one date with a woman and I found out she was in 6 figure debt feom law school. I never dated her again.
This is why women used to come into a potential marriage with a dowry from the family so as to make to make the woman more attractive to potential suitors. Thjsbwas also a way to marry off less attractive girls. Does thjs reduce the woman to just a value proposition? Yes, it does and we are seeing that massive debt makes a woman extremely unattractive.

I agree. But, keep in mind, a 49er who comes from a wealthy family may in fact be more like a 9 in the dating pool. That is how a dowry, which was used throughout history, would allow less attractive women to still get married.
