Some won’t care.

Take Bacon for example. I looked pretty closely at his district. He stomped his last 2 primary opponents. The district is primarily urban voters, so it’s hard to see it electing a deep red candidate in the General Election.

Issues aside, there’s something about the guy I just don’t like — smugness? But, I try not to let that cloud my judgement of what kind of Pubbie outside of personality is electable from that district.

FReepers think our Reps are the problem, and often they are, but a bigger problem is the huge chunk of the population simply not conservative and / or getting bennies from the gov’t.

Problem for us is we have to be very careful how we handle all this. The last thing we want to do is elect a commie dem! If we can replace them we better make sure we have a solid choice that can't lose to a dem.
