look junior barnes...the speedometer went to 200 and on a July night in 1994 on the John C Lodge expressway leading into downtown Detroit, i buried that needle all the way to 200..T-W-O H-U-N-D-R-E-D M.P.H.....that car was FLYIN. You go read your little test articles from magazines...I ACTUALLY OWNED ONE AND DID IT....lol.
Iv’e read that 145 a bunch of times and probably most likely true.
If my speedo was correct the few times i went crazy on a flat straight highway redlined in 5th the speedometer would read 149mph....just a tiny bit below the 150 mark.
It was more a luxury cruiser than a all out sports car.
I liked the heavy weighted feel of the car.
