That’s all well and good. My Tacoma will be the last man standing.

My Tacoma is a 2012 DB Cab V6 long bed. It just turned 104m miles.
It is my third Tacoma. The best of the three. IMHO better than the current models. So, I may just keep this one.

What I would like to buy is something fun to drive part of the time that is NOT a money pit. I started looking at Mercedes SL 500-550s. I was advised against them because of cost of repairs. Then I looked at BMW 335 and 435 hard top convertibles. Again I was told about high maintenance costs.

Now I am looking at Lexus IS350 hard top convertibles and Infinity G37/Q60 hard top convertibles. These are both naturally asperated V6 engines. The Lexus has 306HP. The Infinity has 320HP.

Any recommendations would be appreciated

I drove the 1986 Ford Ranger V6 pickup out to just over 400K miles.
The 1994 GMC Sierra got over 280K miles on it when I sold it.
(Ya just gotta change the oil & stuff, folks - and be somewhat lucky.... And buy New - always.)

I've been getting around lately in a Hyndai Elantra - got over 136K miles on it now.
It's been very reliable. It has an excellent warranty - I've had to pay very little to keep on it the road.
But it's not a pickup truck, of course. And I've found that I can't NOT have a pickup truck.

I am very strongly considering a new Toyota Tundra.
Pretty pricey, though.
