The past tense may have been my error...I just went in and discussed this perspective with my wife...neither of us is physically the person we once were, but in my memory...well...that moment in time won’t change until my mind erases it due to old age or death takes me...one of which is inevitable!
Her eyes sparkled when I talked about it with her...:)
