A) Congressional Black Caucus: Our thoughts continue to be with the families of the thousands of innocent civilians who have been killed since October 7, as well as those who have been displaced and are currently living in fear in the Middle East.
B) CBC: We also continue to stand firm behind Israel’s right to self-defense against the brutal attacks by Hamas terrorists. It is imperative that action be taken now on the worsening humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.
C) CBC: This conflict has left millions of people in Gaza without access to water, food, medicine..We cannot lose sight of the fact that there are millions of innocent Palestinians who are not responsible for the brutal attacks and atrocities of Hamas terrorists
D) CBC: The Congressional Black Caucus supports President Biden's call for the United Nations and governments in Israel, Egypt and surrounding Arab nations to provide immediate humanitarian relief to those impacted by this war.

F) CBC: The Congressional Black Caucus calls for HAMAS to immediately detain and surrender those responsible for the invasion of Israel and the humanitarian crimes against the people of Israel to the appropriate authorities in Israel.
G) CBC: The Congressional Black Caucus calls for the immediate expulsion of any and all members of Congress who by word or deed have expressed support for HAMAS.
That’s not a statement in support of Israel.
It’s a statement in support of Palestinians.
It’s a statement of hate worded as “we care”
The statements are fine, it’s the sentiment behind them that is questionable, considering Ilhan Omar is one of its members..
Very carefully word smithed, sounds good in isolation. But when connected to the other things they say and do, how does one interpret?
Palestinians voted for hamas, they allow military targets to be built and deployed near schools, hospitals, residential areas they deserve the benefits of their decisions.
