It makes sense that atheists flock to socialism.

“Advanced” Western countries have mixed economies.

The benefits of both capitalism and redistribution flow to the connected and burdens of both are laid upon the fleeced.

Thank you for posting this.

Socialism as viewed within a Christian context becomes the antithesis of Christianity. To use the word in its broad sense, socialism is a form of anti-Christ. It is clearly so in an ontological sense, given that Christology is about creation, life, and love of humanity, whereas socialism seeks destruction, death, and the collapse of humanity.

Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Comrade Sanders, can we have your millions?

Hell, no!

One house?

Hell, no!

Comrade Warren, can we have your millions?

Hell, no!

Comrade Biden, can we have your millions?

Come on man, I was just buying votes with other people’s money. I have a wife and son that I really care about.

Joe Kennedy spent a lot of money trying to put John Kennedy into the White House.

To diffuse the matter, JFK said that his father was willing to buy victory but was unwilling to pay for a landslide.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors goods.

This tells you socialism has been a problem since day one.

Some folks peacefully produce their own survival, while others join the war party to steal it.

Italy has lots of one-day strikes.

The short-term strike strategy is now being used by the UAW.

Sometime in the future governments and unions of the productive will engage in collective bargaining over tax rates and regulatory law.

private property is a God-given natural right.:
"Thou shalt not steal" Exodus 20:15.

1 "Whoever steals an ox or a sheep and slaughters it or sells it must pay back five head of cattle for the ox and four sheep for the sheep.
2 "If a thief is caught breaking in at night and is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed;
3 but if it happens after sunrise, the defender is guilty of bloodshed. "Anyone who steals must certainly make restitution, but if they have nothing, they must be sold to pay for their theft.
4 If the stolen animal is found alive in their possession—whether ox or donkey or sheep—they must pay back double."
Exod 22:1-4

The same as the patriots had in the French Revolution

I use to think that this huge push toward socialism could never happen here in the US because we are all born and bred in freedom and able to be whatever we want to be, where we want to be and just be ourselves. Not anymore and I admit I am shocked most days to what is being said and done to our country to take away our freedom and pushing us toward a Stalin world. It blows my mind how good the left is at making something like socialism seem attractive and “fair”, especially to our young. I see the white, liberal women as the head of this spear. They don’t see that if true socialism is implemented in this country, they will be one of the first to fall by the sword.

It can be said in brief that socialism is Judeo-Christianity devoid of God. Take the King James Bible and remove all references to God, then re-imagine it with mankind at the center.

It immediately means that The Bible becomes a “pragmatic work”, that can be corrupted as the writer sees fit. Stories and parables turned on their heads, with morals removed or reversed.

One of the more literate efforts to do this was by Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 – 1882). And Emerson ran with it. You can see in his works extreme corruptions of The Bible, as well as environmental extremism still seen today.

He was profoundly anti-civilization and saw a need to restore nature by eliminating vast numbers of people, reducing mankind to living as they did in early colonial days, in isolated villages in borderline starvation, with their itinerant “masters”, that he called “Orphic Poets”, going around from settlement to settlement, *preventing* technological development.

For which these debased peasants were supposed to be grateful to their masters.

Truly, religion without God is a blueprint for evil.
