The Russia attack in Avdiivka is going slow well, they slowed it down and open new attacks in Kupiansk and Lyman. /s
For the last year Russia has shown limited ability to advance and hold beyond their lines. Their losses, largely from mines and artillery were far greater than Ukraines. They captured Bakhmut, which was not the decisive victory Russians and their allies claimed. The same holds for Avdiivka. If Russia eventually takes it, they will pay a huge price, and it will be a victory Russia will not any ability to capitalize on it.
Much of it is due to crappy logistics. They would have taken Kyiv on day 1 if they could get their supply issues worked out back then.
