I agree with that wholeheartedly. Israel can do it themselves. We can’t afford to be in a two-front war. Heck, we can’t afford to be in what we’re in now.
What is "it"? Knock back Hamas several years? I'd say yes, but the casualties that IDF takes are likely to be very high. That's kind of a given, though, and likely doesn't change much unless the US decides to go into Gaza, which it won't.
Take on Hezbollah and Hamas simultaneously? Yes, Israel should still come out on top, but, badly damaged. The international (including economic) repercussions will be severe and lead to much greater instability.
Defeat Hezbollah, Hamas AND Iran? That's very dicey. Iran has lots of big, long range missiles, potentially huge manpower, and is big enough and willing (historically) to absorb a lot of punishment itself. Likely others would get dragged in too. Very good chance Israel has to use nukes to survive. Economically it's a disaster, if nukes get used, as bad as the Depression or worse. Many, many scenarios are very, very bad beyond Israel...
Yes, Biden has contributed mightily to this mess, but, at this point the only option is the high inside fastball to Iran, and hope they back off.
