Is an AR-15 Sig Series 400 with 30-round clips of 5.56 NATO, better than a 12-gauge for home defense in the U.S. against the kinds of attacks we saw in Israel?

And get ammo when you can. There have been 3 or 4 panics in the last 12 years, or so. Nothing worse than not being able to find ammo at a decent price.

Pistols put holes in your adversary ,rifles put holes through them shotguns with the right load at the right distance will tear chunks of meat off & drop it on the floor.

That's why first shot always needs to be right in their melon, then rest of the mag everywhere. Plus the fact so many are wearing body armor easily bought, Head shots rule.
