In the late ‘20’s and there after when Turkey was murdering Armenians and Greeks, the Germans sent personnel there to document what was being done. I've seen photos and films that the Germans were making.

Putting people into boxcars and sending them miles into the wasteland of Asia Minor, leaving them to die was the blueprint for Nazis. The whole murderous activity of the Turks was a dress rehearsal for the holocaust.
