lot of crazy disasters happened in the bible. like the big flood and the 10 plagues of Egypt. so when someone says something is going to be biblical they mean its going to be huge and probably devistating. that’s what gerard butler meant in the movie, he was going to mess stuff up

When something is referenced in this way it means that it is going to be big, its going to be huge.

Everything in the Bible was huge … the flood where Noah had to build his ark, for example.
