Hardly. I started including the links to the News Blasts because way back when, some people were having trouble seeing the image or whatever (it’s been so long, two or three years, I forget what the trouble was).

The Q thread is a hub of links to sources. We actually expect ‘sauce’ on a regular basis.
Clicking on a NewsWeak link or CNN likely helps them financially in their compensation with advertisers. I don’t see how we could parse between clicking on CNN, which we don’t want to support but they have our content, or clicking on AWK. Clicking on AWK does not cost FReeQs and FReepers money - their FRee Republic donations are not diverted to AWK.
I believe being a source of links/images to other resources makes FR more attractive to readers, and therefore donors, as it provides useful information centralized in one place.
If Jim Rob would like us to stop posting them, he will let us know. Almost six years and suddenly THIS is a ‘concern’?
