It's all about the tunnels

It's all about the tunnels, in:

Ukraine

Going underground:

Ukraine's subterranean fighters highlight the benefit – and long history – of tunnels in warfare Faced with the prospect of sending Russian troops into subterranean combat, Vladimir Putin demurred.

“There is no need to climb into these catacombs and crawl underground,” he told his defense minister on April 21, 2022, ordering him to cancel a planned storming of a steel plant in the besieged Ukrainian port city of Mariupol.

While Putin's back-up plan – to form a seal around trapped Ukrainian forces and wait it out – is no less brutal and there are reports that Russians may still have mounted an offensive on the site, Putin's hesitancy to send his forces into a sprawling network of tunnels under the complex hints at a truth in warfare:

Tunnels can be an effective tool in resisting an oppressor.

( is this what the IDF are facing in Gaza?

Indeed since the war began in February, reports have emerged of Ukrainian defenders using underground tunnel networks in efforts to deny Russian invaders control of major cities, as well as to provide sanctuary for civilians.

As an expert in military history and theory, I know there is sound thinking behind using tunnels as both a defensive and offensive tactic. Such networks allow small units to move undetected by aerial sensors and emerge in unexpected locations to launch surprise attacks and then essentially disappear.

For an invader who does not possess a thorough map of the subterranean passages, this can present a nightmare scenario, leading to massive personnel losses, plummeting morale and an inability to finish the conquest of their urban objective – all factors that may have factored in Putin's decision not to send troops underground in Mariupol.

(Did putin know there was little hope of getting rid of terrorists who know the tunnel inside out,is the same fate waiting for Israeli soldiers or do they have inside info?)

Gaza strip

By David Gritten

BBC News

Israel says it is striking parts of a secret labyrinth of tunnels built underneath the Gaza Strip by Hamas, as it continues to retaliate for the Palestinian Islamist militant group's unprecedented cross-border attack on Saturday.

"Think of the Gaza Strip as one layer for civilians and then another layer for Hamas. We are trying to get to that second layer that Hamas has built," an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson said in a video on Thursday.

"These aren't bunkers for Gazan civilians. It's only for Hamas and other terrorists so that they can continue to fire rockets at Israel, to plan operations, to launch terrorists into Israel," they claimed.

It is very difficult to assess the size of the network, which Israel has dubbed the "Gaza Metro" because it is believed to stretch beneath a territory that is only 41km (25 miles) long and 10km wide.

Following a conflict in 2021, the IDF said it had destroyed more than 100km of tunnels in air strikes. Hamas meanwhile claimed that its tunnels stretched 500km and that only 5% were hit. To put those figures into perspective, the London Underground is 400km long and is mostly above ground.

From Moscow to Urals up to 200m underground:

Russian investigative journalists reveal Russian presidents chain of bunkers

Ukrainska Pravda

December 1, 2022·

Russian President Vladimir Putin has an extensive chain of secret bunkers stretching from Moscow to the Urals, and new underground shelters continue to be built in Russia.

Source: investigation by the Sobesednik (‘Interlocutor’) media outlet; Oleg Roldugin, Editor-in-Chief and author of the investigation, in an interview with the Dozhd TV channel

Quote by Roldugin:

"Bunkers had been built even in Soviet times for top state officials, but this has intensified lately. We know for sure that there are bunkers in Moscow, in the Urals and in the Volga region."

Details: According to Roldugin, Putin has two bunker systems, including those on and those off the record.

The "official" bunker system is within the purview of the Chief Directorate for Special Programmes of the Russian president, a separate official security body that is subject directly to the president.

In the course of the investigation, Roldugin found out that the same construction workers who build the official bunkers and tunnels under Putin's palace in Gelendzhik [Krasnodar Krai] are also building private shelters for the president.

The number of private bunkers is significantly higher than those which can be identified from official contracts or other documents.

As the journalist reports, diggers have revealed that the tunnels in Moscow go down up to 200 metres underground; they accidentally found those tunnels, were sentenced to probation or actual prison terms and had to leave Russia.

Roldugin added that after Putin became president, renovation of the bunkers began. For instance, the lifts to the Moscow bunkers were modernised, worth 55 million roubles [approximately US$902,000 - ed.] being spent on three lifts.

Quote from Roldugin:

"The scale of the project makes it possible to draw conclusions about the depth of the bunkers, what kind of lifts and shafts are installed under Moscow. The agency that deals with building shafts for missile launchers was responsible for this modernisation. Many bunkers are connected with one another by tunnels

Where are Putin's bunkers?

First of all, there are hidden tunnels under the centre of Moscow. According to journalists, the well-known Metro-2 system [unofficial name for previously classified bunkers - ed.] connects government buildings in Moscow (primarily the Kremlin) with bunkers in the capital, as well as in the cities of Balashikha, Chekhov and Kaluga.

The Sobesednik outlet discovered one of the secret entrances to the tunnel near Michurinsky Avenue in Moscow.

The journalists reported that there are dozens of such facilities in the capital of the Russian Federation in different locations: Luchnikov Lane (not far from Lubyanka Square, site of the FSB headquarters and prison), Krestovozdvizhensky Lane (near the Ministry of Defence), and Taganka (near Stalin's bunker). A lot of them are also concentrated around the former wasteland that diggers call Ramenki-43, saying there is an entire underground city on that site that is connected to the Kremlin by tunnels.

Additionally, there are underground shelters under Putin's palace in the town of Gelendzhik.

The journalists investigating the matter believe that there is another bunker in Mount Yamantau, in a well-hidden town in the Urals called Mezhgorye; it lies to the south of Yekaterinburg and somewhere between Magnitogorsk and Ufa.

The "closed administrative territorial formation" (secret cities, known as ZATO in Russian) of Mezhgorye appeared, combining two military settlements, Beloretsk-15 and Beloretsk-16, located 20 kilometres from one another. In general, about 15,000 people live there. Even locals can enter the city only with special permits.

The journalists pointed out that some work in Mount Yamantau has intensified lately. A lot of money is being spent on it. Russian aircraft have imposed a no-fly zone over the mountain, and it is difficult to get there by foot.

Soldiers, "jaegers" [light infantry - ed.] and, judging from the state contracts, DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced drones with 32-fold zoom and thermal cameras (which cost between 500,000 and 1 million roubles per unit; [between US$8,000 and 16,000 - ed.]) are involved in maintaining security for this construction.

Who builds the bunkers?

As Roldugin stated, Construction Management No.30 is responsible for building the bunkers. Its operations are supervised by the Chief Directorate for Special Programmes of the Russian President.

Legally speaking, the Chief Directorate for Special Programmes of the Russian President (CDSP) is the successor to the Fifth Department of the Affairs of the Council of Ministers of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, the main task of which was to build new and modernise existing sites for political and military leaders in case of war.

Aleksandr Linets, a former officer of the Federal Security Service (FSB), has been the Head of the CDSP since 2015. He previously led the Department of the FSB in the Southern Military District. Putin trusts this person, as can be seen from the fact that Linets moved to a 176.7 m2 apartment in the CDSP building on Bolshoy Tishinsky Lane in Moscow.

Anton Vayno, the head of the Kremlin administration; Sergey Naryshkin, the Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service; and Aleksandr Bastrykin, the head of the Investigative Committee, have also received some property in the same building.

Several military units are stationed in the CDSP; they operate in both Moscow and remote regions of the Russian Federation. The contingent consists of people who have been tried and tested over many years of service.

The news outlet investigating the matter stated that very recently, the Russian Federation started signing new state contracts. These documents concern the verification of radiation and chemical reconnaissance devices that are to be used on the armoured targets; the purchase of systems to detect channels of information leaks and of bugs detectors; equipment for a system to install hydroacoustic and acoustic obstacles, hardware and software for psychodiagnostic systems, breathing devices that use compressed air, etc.

Under Colorado:

The secret tunnels of Denver International Airport

Every day, thousands of people at Denver International Airport walk over it as they're trying to catch their flights, and they have no idea what's right under their feet.

There are so many rumors swirling around about what's under Colorado.

Many residents have heard about a secret military city under Denver International Airport, even a government project on aliens down there.

(the real rumors are there are so many aliens down there fighiting breaks out all the time)

Coloradans have heard about what it's like inside the most famous underground military base in the world:

Cheyenne Mountain.

There might be whisperings about tunnels under the Colorado State Capitol, used back in the day for lawmakers to escape gunslingers or to sneak prostitutes into the building.

And who can forget about a bunch of old missile silos supposedly scattered around the state?

9NEWS decided to put the rumors to rest by visiting these places and finding out what really happens Under Colorado.

On Monday, 9NEWS took viewers inside Cheyenne Mountain. On Tuesday, 9NEWS went underneath the Colorado State Capitol building. On Wednesday, 9NEWS answered the most questioned underground space in Colorado:

Denver International Airport.

The Facility

Some speculate that a deep underground military facility, part of the Continuity of Government (COG) program exists on the site. A massive underground city to be used by our government in the event that Washington or our central governments command hub is compromised.

According to some investigative reports, including one headed up by the former Governor of Minnesota, Jesse Ventura, the underground city that lies beneath the airport quite possibly connects to other deep underground military installations throughout the country.

Very likely true!!

Now, a source of mine within the airport confirmed for the first time astonishing information regarding the underground facility, providing details unknown to airport staff and the general public until now.

The following are details regarding a deep underground military installation located on the grounds of the DIA as provided by my source:

♦ Level 1 of the airport is inset into the ground to protect from vibrations coming from underneath. The base board characteristics lead on to this technical design. The employees have been told the reason for this is to protect from vibrations from the public train that leads back and forth to all concourses, A, B, and C.

♦ The airport's gate and door numbers correspond to emergency action and response plans that indicate specific details to people “in the know”.

♦ The design of the airport is built to throw people off as levels are labeled differently on each in some cases and grading changes make it difficult to pinpoint your actual elevation. This was a security feature added by the designers.

♦ Due to lawsuits (or potential staged events) in the “United Airlines, Inc.” section of one of the basement levels at DIA, an infectious bio-hazard or fungal outbreak has instigated quarantined off areas of the underground, as they are now inaccessible to the airport staff and personnel. The quarantined section of the underground was confirmed by the source to be located in Concourse B's East side lower levels.

♦ The landfill located off of Tower Rd. two miles west of the Jeppesen Terminal was added onto in the early 2000′s despite the airports appeal to the District Court against the landfill in 2002, claiming it was a FAA safety hazard. The landfill has a functioning element to it but is “mocked-up” to look like a landfill hidden in plain sight.

♦ There is a militarized intermediary entrance located in the “United Airlines” section of the underground. The actual door number was reveled by my source with great hesitation. The actual door code is “BE64B” unknown until now to the general public.

♦ A swift door will also allow access to the intermediary entrance of the facility if you have the proper “speed-pass” clearance on a Department of Defense (DOD) level. This door was also a secret to the general public until now. The actual door number is “T-47 M” located on the level 4 exterior. Update: Airport Staff, “I just went in to T47-M… nothing goes down, no steps, no elevator”.

♦ The dirt in parts of the train tunnels looks unnatural, and “if anyone steps on it they know”, said my source.

Gates can “lock-down” certain sections of the airport in the event of an emergency.

♦ A nearly 3 mile long tunnel heads out from the intermediary entrance “BE64B“, to a full-blown Department of Defense (DOD) sanctioned militarized entrance nestled in a set of 5 buildings 120′ beneath the surface located Northeast of the Jeppesen Terminal.

♦ All VIP activity typically originates under the Northwest section of “Concourse C”

The information provided by the whistleblower does indeed beg the following question. Does the DOD have any ties to areas of the airport owned and (or) operated by domestics airline carriers?

Department Of Defense Ties To Domestic Airline Carriers

..........................

There is more much more just the tip of the iceberg on what tunnels there are worldwide and how extensive and important the are.

The secret tunnels of Denver International Airport

I love conspiracies, and am fully onboard with the notion that those strange humming/trumpet noises people have been hearing and capturing on video are the result of huge tunnel boring machines just doing their thing around/below their neighborhood.

For what purpose, who knows?

Interesting about the tunnels, especially the new (to me) details on DIA.

There are also persistent stories about a breakaway (4th Reich) civilization under Antarctica. If I recall, this was discussed in “Behold a Pale Horse,” by William Cooper, which was affirmed by Q.

The area is said to be reachable by submarine passages.

I believe there is also a subterranean submarine passage in the U.S.

Pinging LP for Navy comments.

Good run-down but you missed at least one: There is a very large cavern under a pineapple field on the opposite side of the canyon next to Wheeler AFB on Oahu. We dug it and used it to assemble fighter planes during WWII. The same guys dug it, that dug the underground fuel storage above Pearl Harbor and the buried ammo bunkers in the sides of Kipapa Gulch, just down hill from Wheeler.
