They did worse than that. They kidnapped Hezbollah family members and sent fingers, ears, tongues, hands....and then the head, over a period of weeks, mind you. They went down the line and killed uncles and cousins of them (well, they are all inbred idiots anyways). Russia didn't have a problem with them for DECADES.
