No, not the average “Arab on the street”. But the Saudis know they either make peace with Israel and secure the protection of the West, or they have to hurry and get their own nuclear weapon to defend against Iran.
If I were them, I’d probably be pursuing both options since the leftist leaders in the West have been playing footsy with Iran and can’t be counted on.
