The DNA results have always been skewed due to the relative lack of ancient samples. Because a good sample comes from one particular set of remains, that's what we learn about, how it fits living genomes (but not everyone, because only a fraction of living people and recently deceased people have been sampled). It's analogous to building parsimonious trees from very small numbers (often just one or two) of fossil finds in areas where fossils happen to have formed, and that have explored so far. :^)
Indeed-when it comes to what humans did, when, who they were and where they came from-the more we discover the more apparent it is that there is still so much more to find-we may never figure it all out-but I love to read about every new discovery, and see how it fits in the story of who we are...
The more early human remains and other evidence of their lives we discover, it becomes more apparent that our modern racial constructs are nonsense-MLK appears to have been prescient in his push for color blindness and judging by the content of one’s character-and he was saying that before we knew about DNA and that people mixed, traveled and spread all over the world 10’s of 1000’s of year ago-or that the Neanderthals are part of our ancestry, etc.
There are several members of my (Caucasian) Hispanic family who are married to Black or Asian spouses, male and female-they met when one or both were serving in the military-this has gone on since before I was born, and I don’t recall anyone ever saying anything negative/racist about that-they all have kids/grandkids now-I suppose we are color-blind outliers...
There is no reason that is supported by the scientific evidence available today for anyone to have a “race card” to play, affirmative action to push/use to stifle the education/opportunities of others, enable criminals or racial concerns to whine about-we need to GTF over it and act like the real humans God says we should be-just my dos centavos...
