Maybe. I don’t think Russia wants to expand the conflict.

All the efforts to spread it are from the West, from the proposed blockade of Kaliningrad, Kosovo, the attempted Dugin hit, the pipeline, the dam, nuclear plant shelling, Georgia attempted Color Revolution... they are doing everything they can to expand the war and possibly bring in NATO.

If the attempted Dugin hit and the successful Prigozhin hit were done by Western intelligence, Russia has a serious internal security problem.

Paul Craig Roberts, a former Reagan Administration official, has been critical of Putin's "special military operation", a euphemism for a limited war, which was unsuccessful for our country in Korea and Vietnam. On the other, military observers like Douglas MacGregor believe the Russians are methodically grinding the Ukrainian military down. If MacGregor is correct, the West may be firing up Armenian and Serbian conflicts to divert the Russians.
