This explains why Russian went after Ukraine. The eastern regions begged him for help as Ukraine had been waging war on civilzions for several years, around 14,000 civilians killed. Also Putin wanted to destroy the biolabs which were among whatever else they did (like working on covid) trying to develop bioweapons that targeted specific racial and ethnic groups, including Russians.
