Thank you for the Broken China update. The Chinese are well known for underplaying all things bad occurring in China. There were reports in mid 2020 that the smoke from their crematoriums could be seen from 30,000 feet. It’s been proposed that their deaths numbered in the millions to tens of millions. In an attempt to reduce the death toll, China admitted to the most harsh lockdowns on the planet with the authorities locking people inside their homes with the locks on the outside. Is it possible that the barren cities are a result of the extraordinary number of deaths they experienced? There may be no way to know the truth since China hasn’t been forthcoming about anything related to covid or perhaps anything at all.
No, the barren cities are from over building. Most of the empty residential units are not finished. No utilities, electrical, water, sewer, and in many cases, streets.
PRC Real Estate is a giant Ponzi scheme that is in the process of collapsing. As bad as the subprime crisis was in the US we only overbuilt 3-5% erring closer to 3%. The PRC is over built by at least 100%. They could house TWICE their population, which is actually shrinking.
When this comes down it truly will be Biblical.

I have no doubt that China has been less than honest about a great many things in regards to their population. Almost nothing gets out concerning the weather related problems China has faced over the last few years. Flooding and droughts lead to food shortages and famine. Has China been able to feed itself, or are people dying because they don’t have enough rice? A China scaled famine could kill tens to hundreds of millions. That would be a worldwide catastrophe, and it could cause the CCP to do something rash to cover up the bad news.
