Republican Kentucky Rep. James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, announced Thursday he is issuing subpoenas for personal and business bank records from Hunter Biden and his uncle, James Biden.
Comer announced the new subpoenas at the conclusion of the first impeachment inquiry hearing into President Joe Biden led by the House Oversight Committee.

As a side note: as I saw snippets of the hearing, and Uncle Fester's Bud Light stunt, a thought crossed my mind--its hard to believe a number of these clowns were legitimately elected. Then again, the network coverage of this inquiry has been pretty sparse as opposed to the dog and pony show from several years ago.
Hunter doesn’t have to show them squat. This smells of congressional overreach.
Does CrackHunter and his Uncle have to produce these bank records or does the bank? I can’t imagine CrackHunter or the Uncle producing anything legit.

These people aren’t serious about impacting Biden. If they were, the bank records of every member of the Biden Crime Family would’ve been subpoenaed years ago. Then a Forensic Accountant should’ve researched them with a fine-toothed comb. THEN the hearings.
WHY, in the name of all that’s holy, would they have hearings BEFORE investigating? This is critical information! Again ... They are not serious people, and they’re shoving that fact in your face. Jordan, Comer, et al., go to hell.

DON’T WORRY, the DOJ will come back and claim that all records are part of a FBI investigation and as such will BLOCK any transmission of this data to REPUBLICANS.

Yeah, Biden is too protected. Besides the entire DemoMarxist party he’s also got the media, the justice dept and the FBI all on his side kissing his ass. The FBI will raid Mar-a-lago which is protected by the secret service but Biden having boxes of documents in his garage is perfectly OK, the double standard is outrageous especially for a punk bum like him. Baffles me why that piece of sh— gets his ass kissed so much.
According to the SCOTUS ruling on Trump’s records, Congress can now get financial records for private citizens.

Actually it’s not. Congress has plenary power to demand these records straight from the banks. And they’ll have to comply.

The Republicans have been on this for quite some time. They already have most of these docs in one form or another. Now they are just looking to get certified originals from the banks.

They need to subpoena every bank loan application they have ever submitted to make sure they they didn’t over value their property!
I can’t imagine the Biden’s will comply. The banks, who are eager to hand over GOP statements, will resist.
Why didn’t they include Joe and Jill’s bank records?
