with a gun carrying guard.
Lived in Rostov on Don with a newly adopted child (number four) for weeks as required by the court.
Went all over the city. By then my Russian was very good
and I was completely comfortable there.

I took three of my kids to a black tie dinner at the Russian embassy in DC where my adopted son - age ten - spoke at the podium and took down the house.
Had the most amazing caviar.There was a fantastic balaika band playing in the hall.
