All orphanage kids in Russia were rejected by Russians.
On one of my trips there a program ran where the Russians called the orphans “little criminals”.
I had discussions with Russians and some replanted Canadians there about this.
They think it was the stigma behind how the orphanages were created.
There is SO much you don’t know about Russia.
Again and again.

No, ‘replants’ would not have the knowledge.
Our Russian Children’s Home director told the history of our Children’s Home creation. Both fathers and mothers went to serve in WWII. The village took care of the children.
However, now many of the children population within the ‘system’ now are products of abandonment due to parental substance abuse.
1. The villagers know the families of the children. Parents are typically not responsible members of the community that feed their own addictions instead of their children.
Both the village adults and children exhibit extreme prejudiced attitude refers to an unjustified and negative attitude or belief towards a certain group, in this case children as members of the dětské doma group,i.e. my son was shot in the eye.
The stats when we adopted when children within 1 year:
60% became homeless with no life skills, 30% were jailed, 10% died were aged out of the ‘orphanages’
2. The Russian population economic struggles are real. When the USSR collapsed. The communists in Moscow took financial gain while the rest of the nation suffered.
As we were told by our taxi driver, young couples hope to have one child someday. The abortion rate in Russia is high..
Adoption is not considered acceptable alternative by young couples. Often, women will wear 3 month, 6 month, etc pregnancy prosthesis. Then, will leave to return with their ‘baby.’
I may not know all regarding the Russian children’s home system. However, you have revealed there is much you don’t know as well.
